I donate a portion of all sales to educational and charitable purposes. Most of them are music related.
Remember what it was like to play a musical instrument for the first time? Or to play a complete song for the first time? Or even to perform in front of people for the first time?
I know that music was a source of many firsts for you. I am committed to providing important first musical experiences to young musicians. I'm hoping you'll be willing to help these students get the most out of music.
A portion of all sales through my musical instrument store will be donated to charity. And, you'll get a great feeling knowing you're helping support the growth of future musicians.
2007 Goals
This year, my goal is to raise money towards scholarships for high school graduates who are going to colleges and conservatories for instrumental music, vocal music, dance, drama, musical theatre, playwriting, theatre technology, and visual art.
Also, I want to help provide purchases of new musical instruments to restore music education programs that have been cut due to budget reductions in the past or to save programs at risk of elimination due to lack of instruments.
My Accomplishments
In 2007, I used a portion of the sales revenue to purchase a guitar and donate it to a charity that raised close to 1 million dollars. This charity supports advances in medical research of epilepsy, as well as provides information and support to many families with similar needs.
In addition, I regularly donate money to a charity whose mission is to bring peace and a renewed sense of life to those who need healing.
