Bosphorus Cymbals: 22″ Master Series Ride Cymbal

Addiction

You can trace the roots of an addiction back to one single incident that is forever embedded in your mind. Your addiction continues because you want to relive it. This is how I feel every time I touch my Bosphorus Master Series 22″ Ride Cymbal.

More Than I Could Handle

When I strike this cymbal, it rings endlessly. With maximum attention to detail in regards to stick height and velocity, repetitive strokes never sound consistent with this cymbal. So frustrating!

Crayons

Over time, I learned that inconsistency was the beauty of this cymbal. I realized over time that it wasn’t inconsistency, but rather an endless palette of colors that I was hearing.

Getting Scolded

If you know me well, then you that I have a tendency to cross the line. I really heard about it from an audience member and several band mates when I decided to use this cymbal as a second crash on an R&B gig. I LOVED IT!

Traitors

Fellow drummers who are loyal to other cymbal companies have tried this ride and cannot deny how buttery it feels and how sweet it sounds. They can’t have it.

Note to My Sponsor

Even though I proudly endorse Bosphorus Cymbals, I know that I will never find a Bosphorus Master Series 22″ Ride Cymbal like this one. The only thing they could do to replace that cymbal is pay for my therapist appointments. This why I love Bosphorus Cymbals. Each cymbal has its own incredibly unique DNA.

I’m Not Sure If It’s For You…

Bosphorus Cymbals are NOT for every drummer. If you want a decent sounding ride cymbal than you can go to your local music store and find what you are looking for.

Seek and You Will Find

If you are a drummer who is forever seeking to strive for a great sound and open to the limitless possibilities of sound, then you need to try out one of these ride cymbals. Your life will change forever.

As always, comments are welcome and encouraged. Cheers.
