International Drum Month

I don’t know if you know this, but November is International Drum Month. It’s amazing that a whole month is dedicated to the subject of drumming. There are a variety of workshops and activities going on this month throughout the world.

In celebration of this month, I decided to share some drum videos with you that I truly enjoy. I encourage you to take a moment and check them out.

Finally, this video really caught me by surprise when I first looked at it. I’ve listened to the Carpenters on the radio and played some of their songs live. In case you didn’t know, their lead singer, the late Karen Carpenter, was also their drummer. As you watch this, notice how relaxed she plays, how fast she plays, and how dressed up she is.
