4 Podcasts That Will Make You More Money

make money podcastLike many people, I am looking to constantly get better at time management. One of the many practical tips that I learned from the book,
No BS Time Management for Entrepreneurs
(affiliate link), was to make better use of down time. Since I spend a good amount of time in the car and on airplanes, I’m determined to make the best use of this time while traveling to and from events.  Using this time to educate myself through listening to podcasts has had a powerful impact on my income.

When searching for a podcast on making more money, you will find more than enough authors and episodes. I’ve stumbled on four podcasts that have helped me increase my income. I feel as though after I listen to each one, I come away with a practical step to apply to my life and work…it’s pretty amazing. The best part of listening to these podcasts are that they are free.

  • EntreLeadership – Dave Ramsey gives straight up, honest, uncomfortable, and blunt guidance on running a business. He’s taught me about communication, delegation, money, time management, hiring, and how to work better with other people. In his very first episode, he said that if you want to quickly figure out what the problems are in your business, than look in the mirror. I’ve been hooked ever since.
  • Smart Passive Income – At the beginning of this article, I put “affiliate link” in parenthesis next to the link to the book on time management. I did this to make it clear to you that if you click on the link to that book and buy it, I will receive a commission from it. This is a form of passive income because I am not present to generate income. In this podcast, Pat Flynn offers simple & practical advice on how to take small steps to increase your passive income.
  • This is Your Life – In the words of author Michael Hyatt, “This Is Your Life is a weekly podcast dedicated to intentional leadership. My goal is to help you live with more passion, work with greater focus, and lead with extraordinary influence.” Through listening to this podcast, I’ve learned how to manage my email (clear out my inbox daily), have more energy, and be a better communicator.
  • Automate My Small Business – This podcast was recently recommended to me by my friend and fellow drummer Brendan Finnegan. After listening to a few episodes, I’m learning how to get closer and closer to removing myself from my business. The best thing about removing myself from more of the day-to-day operations of my business is that I will be better positioned to make more money.

I urge you to check out these podcasts. Be sure to listen to at least 3 episodes before you decide on whether or not to subscribe. Although these podcasts have been helpful to me and my friends, you will decide if they are the right fit for you.

What other podcasts that will make you more money do you suggest I check out?
