My focus in 2020 has been in supporting people in receiving the gift of emotional wellness super important. This year, I constantly get messages from people thanking me, which I am humbled by for the tips that I share for the techniques that I share. And I want to share some specific ones with you that have helped people rest and recharge fast.

1. Limit your time on social media and consume the news.

2. Make sure you get enough sleep every night and go to bed at a regular time. This is a very important habit to get into. When you start getting into this habit, it will allow you to have predictability in a time of uncertainty.

3. Meditate. Take time to be silent, even if it’s just five minutes of closing your eyes and being still it’s an important thing to do each day.

4. Spend time on a hobby that you enjoy or start a new one. Have you started a new hobby or rediscovered an old hobby during the pandemic? If so, please leave a comment below and let me know.

5. Journal. Write stuff down. There’s something so powerful about taking out a pen or a pencil and writing your thoughts on a piece of paper. And you will discover as I have, and many others have that. Once you start writing the journal entry starts writing itself, magically.

6. Make it a point to get outside and get fresh air. This is something that has helped me through this pandemic. As you are home a lot more than you would like to be, or if you’re in an office more than you would like to be, it’s really important that you are intentional about getting outside, and getting some fresh air.

Now you have six things that you can start doing each day to rest and recharge quickly. But what if that’s not enough? Well, I’ve created a course for you called How to Find Peace in Times of Uncertainty. And I invite you to enroll by clicking the link in the description below to be sure to check out my video on self-care hacks for workplace mental health.
